Thanksgiving Food Drive: Helping the Community Fight Hunger

In the U.S., more than 54 million people may experience food insecurity this year. That’s one in nine people in our communities that struggle with hunger.

Universal Bank is dedicated to combating hunger issues throughout our communities by volunteering hours to support food banks and hunger relief programs. Universal Bank organized a Thanksgiving Food Drive for The Midnight Mission, a non-profit organization supporting people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles.

Universal Bank’s President and CEO Frank Chang said, “We are excited to support the communities in which we work, live, and do business. Collaborating with partners such as The Midnight Mission are integral to the Bank’s commitment to eliminating economic disparities and creating positive change in underserved communities.”
