Grant Universal Access Bank Presents a $37,500 Check to Foothill Unity

Universal Access Bank presented Foothill Unity Center a grant for $37,500 through FHLBank San Francisco. This year, FHLB awarded $3.5 million in grants for pandemic relief and economic development to 97 non-profit organizations. Foothill Unity Center is a non-profit food bank and food distribution center with 2 locations in the San Gabriel Valley. This funding will go a long way in further supporting local at-risk communities for hunger. Below is Foothill Unity’s social media post thanking UB.

Christmas Toy Drive: Bringing Smiles to Underprivileged Children in L.A.

On Thursday, December 19th, Raised by a Village along with Universal Access Bank brought lots of smiles to the children and families of Strive L.A. by donating over 100 toys! We concluded the festivities with a beer garden event that evening which brought in an estimated 75 guests, including the Mayor of Walnut, Andrew Rodriguez. All proceeds went to Strive L.A., which provides after-school academic and guidance resources to inner city children, youth and their families in the Watts community of Los Angeles.
